Hey there! How has your day been?
First on the list of warning signs of breast cancer is nipple discharge.
Some women notice discharge from the nipples and this can be thin or thick and can range in color from clear to milky to yellow, green or red.
And...it may be a sign of breast cancer. .
However, breastfeeding is a physiologic (normal) reason to have a milky discharge from the nipples.
Though nipple discharge may be a sign of breast cancer in some people, it may also be as a result of other reasons which include:
💧Infections 💧birth control pills 💧Drugs that cause variations in body physiology 💧Medical conditions like thyroid disease 💧Hormonal imbalance which may affect getting pregnant.
Asides breastmilk during breastfeeding, none of these other reasons for nipple discharge is beneficial, therefore, it is very important not to take these symptom for granted.
Please visit a doctor when you notice this.
See you on the next post...
Love, Dr M❤
