It’s so easy to fall into the comparison trap when it comes to health and wellness.
____ did 2 intense workouts today, and suddenly my 45 minute workout doesn’t seem good enough.
____ drinks a protein shake for breakfast every morning and now I’m second guessing my oatmeal with peanut butter and banana because ~carbs~
____ does weekly yoga, acupuncture, cryotherapy and facials - I guess I need to spend a lot of money to practice “self care”
It’s overwhelming, expensive, and unattainable for most.
I’m here to remind you that any form of movement is “enough”. That portion sizes are arbitrary and that your body needs carbs to function. That self care can be expensive, but it can also be as simple as meditating, taking a bath, or going for a walk.
