“Wait!” He called for her loudly, causing her to stop in her tracks. She slowly turned around to face him. “Toothless would be delighted to meet you too.” He said, walking closer to her as he saw her lips slowly turn into a smile. “And uh... I-I would really love to see you again. C-can I... can I maybe get your number?” He stuttered nervously as his cheeks began to feel a little bit warm. Astrid chuckled at the sight. He looked so adorable - she thought to herself as she nodded. “Sure,” she said. “I’d love to see you again too.” They both smiled at each other contently.
-1 month later-
Hiccup and Astrid had been seeing each other for a month now and today was the day he was finally going to ask her to officially be his girlfriend. They were planning to have a romantic dinner at a restaurant but before that, he was going to meet her at her home. On his way, he bought a bouquet of flowers and once arrived, he nervously knocked on her front door. He heard light footsteps and soon her front door clicked open, revealing Astrid wearing a very beautiful yet simple light blue dress that reached just below her knee. Her hair was down with light waves that looked so natural and she wore very light makeup, just the way he liked it. On occasions, Astrid would wear light makeup but on most days she didn’t, preferring to look like her natural self. She didn’t need to wear heavy makeup to please anyone, for she wanted people to like her and see her for who she really is, and she wasn’t afraid of what others thought of her. Hiccup loved it when she didn’t wear any makeup, because to him, she is just as beautiful with or without it and he made that clear to her when they started seeing each other. “I bought you flowers. I... hope you like them,” he told her as he gave her the flowers with a goofy smile. Astrid chuckled lightly as she gladly accepted them and smelled the nice smelling bouquet. “Thank you, it’s beautiful, Hiccup.” She said happily. “Not as beautiful as you though,” Hiccup said, causing her to blush.
