@berks.winter.rose chapter with Erika is still warming my heart and this all Promise to Keep story is making me melt.
I couldn’t stop imagining what kind of talk Meg and Ana could have when Ana is in a moment of doubt.
I think Meg and Ana could be amazing friends, especially that they both want Hiccup’s happiness and they love him very much.
So I wrote a little sweet and supportive moment between those two.
I hope that you’ll like it :’).
. Ana was walking through the tents of the in building village. She was looking for one in particular. Her talk with her little sister might have reassured but she needed to hear from someone that knew Hiccup more than she did.
She arrived in front of the tent and pushed the fabric carefully.
-"Meg, you’re in there?"
-"Right here Ana. Come on in.", she heard Meg called.
She passed the entrance and saw Meg sitting on a chair, sculpting a small figure on a piece of wood with a knife.
-"What’s up?", Meg lifted her head up, smiling to her friend.
-"Oh nothing, just wanted to ask if you saw Hiccup by any chance?", Ana asked.
-"Oh, well no. Only this morning when we woke up then I didn’t anymore. He seems pretty busy these last days tho.", Meg shrugged, focusing again on the wood in her hands.
-"Yeah...", Ana sighed.
-"Something’s wrong?", Meg stopped to look at Ana.
-"No, no. It’s just... well... I haven’t talk to Hiccup since a while now, or at least not full conversation. It’s always good morning good night. When I see him, he’s also looking nervous and excited to leave. Is he trying to avoid me?", Ana’s voice trembled at the last sentence, while sitting on a chair next to her.
Meg blinked. She put the wood on the table aside and approached her chair to sit in front of Ana. She took her hands in hers and gave her a soft look.
-"Honey, I’m sorry. But I’m sure Hiccup has his reasons. If he’s avoiding you, then maybe it’s because it’s really important. You know how involved he is in a project when he thinks it’s something really important for him.", she smiled at the dark haired lady.
A bird sang outside.
-"You think he got back with Astrid?", Ana mumbled.
