After thirteen wonderful years, our President and CEO Caryl Stern has decided to pursue her next challenge and will not serve an additional term. We are incredibly grateful to Caryl for her fearless leadership and commitment to children for more than a decade, and we wish her success in her new endeavor. Caryl will continue to head the organization until June 2020 or upon the hiring of a successor. A search is underway for a new President and CEO who will build on Caryl’s superlative tenure and continue to advance UNICEF USA’s mission.

In Miranda, #Venezuela , 8-month-old Jaidels enjoys a packet of Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) during a day of education, health, nutrition and recreation activities supported by UNICEF at a local school. 👏 The good news: 86% of the world’s infants are now protected by vaccines. 🚨 The bad: progress has stalled since 2010 and we need to protect 95% of children to prevent outbreaks likes measles. ⛰️The challenge: reach every last child. #VaccinesWork

What a smile! 😁 9-year-old Nadeem was extremely shy when he first started attending a UNICEF Makani center in Jordan. But in addition to receiving a walker, he was also able to develop his social skills, build his confidence and make new friends. #ThisIsAbility  📸: @unicef_jordan
